How do I decide which hearing aid is right for me?
If you think you need a hearing aid, book an appointment with an ear doctor. They can check your hearing and decide if you have mild, moderate or severe hearing loss. From there, you and your doctor can discuss the right type of hearing aid for you.
There are two main types of hearing aids:
- Behind the ear (BTE)
- In the ear (ITE)
The type of hearing aid you choose may depend on your lifestyle and level of hearing loss. Talk to your doctor for more information.
