• Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Aetna Medicare Advantage plans may also include coverage for prescription drugs, dental, vision, a fitness benefit and wellness programs.

Aetna offers several different Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO plan options.

Aetna Medicare (HMO) provides members with access to tens of thousands of network health care providers nationwide. In-network coverage may also be available when you travel, depending on where you are and the plan’s network coverage.

Health maintenance organization with point of service (HMO-POS) typically requires in-network providers for medical care, with flexibility to see certain providers out of network. Network coverage varies by plan.

Aetna Medicare (PPO) provides flexibility to visit in-network and out-of-network health care providers without a referral.

Aetna Medicare Advantage plans have an out-of-pocket maximum, which limits how much you’re required to pay out of pocket for covered medical expenses in one year.
