SilverSneakers is available at thousands of participating locations. Available amenities and fitness activities can vary by location. But some of the options include:
- Group exercises
- Organized classes such as yoga, tai chi and many more
- Equipment for cardiovascular and strength training
- Education about health and nutrition
- Social activities and events
- Sports teams and leagues
Depending on the facility, you may have access to facility amenities such as saunas, hot tubs, pools, basketball courts and more.
Every SilverSneakers member is eligible for a home exercise kit. The kit includes a Quick Start Guide and certain fitness accessories you might need.
Do I qualify for a SilverSneakers basic fitness membership?
In order to be eligible, you must be:
- At least 65 years old, or under 65 and eligible for Medicare
- A resident of the U.S.
- An enrolled member of a private Medicare Advantage plan that offers a fitness benefit with SilverSneakers
