SilverSneakers is a wellness program designed to promote exercise in a fun and socially interactive way for people over the age of 65. The program is available at more than 15,000 gym locations around the country.² A membership gives you access to each location.

What does SilverSneakers membership include?

The available amenities and fitness activities can vary by location. But some of the options that may be accessible to SilverSneakers members include:

• Group exercises
• Organized classes such as yoga, tai chi and many more
• Equipment for cardiovascular and strength training
• Education about health and nutrition
• Social activities and events
• Sports teams and leagues

Plus, you’ll have access to facility amenities such as saunas, hot tubs, pools, basketball courts and more.

If there’s no SilverSneakers location near you, you may be eligible for a home exercise kit. The kit includes a workout DVD and any associated equipment you might need.

Do I qualify for SilverSneakers?

Eligibility for SilverSneakers is simple. In order to be eligible, you must be:

• At least 65 years old, or under 65 and eligible for Medicare
• A resident of the U.S.
• An enrolled member of a private Medicare Advantage plan that offers the SilverSneakers benefit
