Cigna Medicare Plan Options

Cigna Medicare Advantage plans in 2023 feature the same coverage offered by Medicare Part A and Part B under one plan, and many plans also offer some additional benefits such as dental, vision, hearing and prescription drug coverage.

Cigna Medicare Advantage plans can offer:

  • Low monthly premiums
  • A team approach to your health care
  • Case management for beneficiaries who have a chronic health condition or who could use extra help managing their health

Some Medicare Advantage plans may even include perks like memberships to gyms and wellness programs.

Cigna Medicare Part D Prescription Drug plans offer coverage for some of the costs of prescription medications.

Because Medicare Part A and Part B do not provide prescription drug coverage, a Part D plan can help reduce the out-of-pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries when they buy prescription drugs.

If you have Medicare Part A and Part B and would like to have coverage for some of your prescription drug costs, you can consider joining a Medicare Advantage plan available where you live that offers prescription drug coverage, or you can enroll in a standalone Medicare Part D plan.

Cigna Medicare prescription drug plans contract with over 64,000 network pharmacies throughout the United States. This network includes major retail pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies, which helps to give you convenient access to pharmacies where you live.

Medicare Supplement Insurance plans are designed to cover some of the out-of-pocket costs associated with Medicare, such as Medicare deductibles, copayments, coinsurance and other costs.

You cannot be enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan and a Medicare Supplement Insurance plan at the same time.
